Directions
Coming from the M1:
Come off the M1 at Junction 25 - take the A52 towards Nottingham. Go over three roundabouts. The first two are those crazy roundabouts where you go straight over the middle of the island, the third has a big Toby Carvery opposite it. The two lanes will then merge into one, and you will go past the university on your RHS. At the fourth roundabout (by the hospital), turn right onto Clifton Boulevard (this keeps you on the A52 if you look at the map). Go over the flyover, then get in the left hand lane (marked Industrial Estate) and head towards the roundabout. Turn right at the roundabout onto Thane Road and then immediately left onto Lenton Lane. Follow the road all the way to the end, and you should find the university sports fields (the car park looks vaguely like a farm). The baseball pitches are about 300 metres across the fields in the far corner.
Coming from the A52 east:
This is easy. Just stay on the A52 until after it merges with the A453. You should then get in the left hand lane marked industrial estate, go down to the roundabout and turn left onto Thane Road and the immediately left again onto Lenton lane. Follow the road all the way to the end, and you should find the university sports fields (the car park looks vaguely like a farm). The baseball pitches are about 300 metres across the fields in the far corner.
